$17.5M in Emergency Funding Earmarked for Spotted Lanternfly

The federal government is contributing more money to help stop the spread of the spotted lanternfly in southeastern Pennsylvania. The SDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) along with the state's Department of Agriculture will set up a three mile perimeter to contain the main infested area.
