Womelsdorf Splash Pad Update

We are excited, and we hope that you're as excited as we are for opening day of the 2024 pool season at the Womelsdorf Community Swimming Pool.  With only two weeks left before opening day (Saturday 05/25/2024), we wanted to provide you with an update on the progress of the brand new inclusive splash pad project.

The great news, is that the splash pad is on schedule to be open for all to enjoy on opening weekend, and we are very happy to be able to offer this inclusive amenity at our facility for everyone to enjoy this year and for many years to come!

The unfortunate news, is that there has been a shipping delay on some of the features, and the splash pad will be open and operating without those features installed.  However, every obstacle provides an opportunity, and this obstacle provides us with an opportunity to open the season with a fun and functional splash pad, and be able to make it even better and more fun once those features arrive and are installed.

Due to the delay, we are postponing the splash pad dedication ceremony until a later date to be determined.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who has had anything to do with this project no matter how big or small.  Without your generosity and contributions this project would not be a reality and we can not thank you enough!
