Womelsdorf Tornado

A line of severe thunderstorms produced a brief tornado in Womelsdorf Borough on Saturday. This was in addition to scattered straight line wind damage that occurred across other portions of southeastern Pennsylvania.

Residents should never approach downed power lines, contact the utility company.

Residents with property damage should report the damage to their respective homeowner insurance companies.

Residents with trees and brush debris should cut it into manageable sizes and put to the curb for their regular brush pickup or contact the Borough directly for removal. As a reminder the Borough does not service private HOA communities.
