Womelsdorf Borough Residents may either bring items they wish to discard to the Womelsdorf Pool, located at 41 North Water Street, for disposal, or for an additional charge, have larger items picked up CURBSIDE at their residence THURSDAY OR FRIDAY ONLY from 7 A.M. - 2 P.M.! Curbside pick-up must be paid for before Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 4:00 P.M.

A charge will be assessed for larger items, which is payable in advance at the Borough Hall, 101 West High Street, Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. EXCEPT FOR larget items for curbside pick-up (items listed below), whcih must have paid the fee at the Borough Hall no later than Wednesday, September 12 at 4:00 P.M. Proof of residence is required and payment must be made in advance. Receipt of payment for items brought tot he Womelsdorf Pool must be presented to the operator at the Womesldorf Pool.
NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS WILL BE ACCEPTED! (Oil Paints, Thinners, Insecticides, Oil, Antifreeze, Gasoline, etc.) These items can be disposed of at the Berks County Household Hazardous Waste Collections, which are held twice a year, in the Spring and again in the Fall.
Also, we do not accept brush or shrubs.

NO ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT SUCH AS TV'S, COMPUTERS, CELL PHONES, MICROWAVES, OR AIR CONDITIONERS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Take these items to the County's Electronic Recycling Center at 1316 Hilltop Road, Leesport on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 AM - Noon.
All other items must be brought ot the Womelsdorf Pool and will be handled at no charge. Proof of residence is required. If you have any questions, please call either the Borough Hall 610-589-4725 or the Sewage Treatment Plan at 610-589-2756.
Please Note: This is not a profit-making entity for the Borough. The Borough holds clean-up week as a public service to our residents to aid them in disposing of unwanted items in an effort to clean up their properties and only charges what it costs the Borough to dispose of these items!
